(More customer reviews)I have this amp paired with an Alpine R12 (4 ohm), and it is amazing. With the gain over 3/4, it is TOO POWERFUL for any kind of conversation in my 08 Civic.
I also bought a 1 Farad capacitor, because my headlights were dimming.
This amp has not cut out once, even in near 100 degree heat and bumpin'.
I recommend this amp because of it's flawless performance, light price, active cooling, and heavy hitting power.
I am very impressed with this amp.

The thing is loud, i am using it to power a 12 inch woofer in a sealed enclousure and it rocks. Lots of controls to taylor the exact sound quality from boomy to very, very deep bass. In addition the lighted sign just looks cool in the trunck. and for the price? its a steal

(More customer reviews)I purchased this amp to add to my existing factory setup, I'm running it as a second amplifier to power two Aura Bass shakers along with two `left over' speakers I've mounted behind the rear seats to fill out the sound profile. It works great, delivers the power needed and I wired it to use the remote turn on signal from my radio to operate it independently when I want the extra power the bass shakers give as well as the fuller audio of the added speakers.
The instructions were clear and installation was a breeze, I really liked the flexibility of this amp in accepting low (line level) as well as high (powered) inputs.
The only thing I would have liked is the ability to adjust the speaker level volumes remotely but that is not what this amplifier was designed for and those amplifiers are in a different price bracket entirely. Having independent power volume adjustment for the two sets of channels is still wonderful to fill out the sound as you want it. For the price, versatility and features this amplifier has I'd recommend it or another model on this product line depending on the application.

Dual XPA2500 300 Watt Amplifier Review

(More customer reviews)I'm definitely not an amp expert. I got some free subs and bought this cheap amp from WalMart because I wasn't willing to spend a fortune on a car sound system. This amp was easy to hook up and after about 2 years I'm starting to have heating problems. It's the beginning of spring now and on warm days the amp will stay on for about 10 minutes then start cutting on and off. I have it well ventilated and everything is hooked up right. I would suggest this product for anyone wanting to install sub woofers in their car for the first time. I would NOT suggest buying this used. It doesn't really surprise me that something from WalMart would do this, but other than heating issues after about two years, this is a good amp.
