(More customer reviews)This is in fact a pair of tweeters, not an individual, and they looked like high quality speakers and housing. Unfortunately Amazon said they fit my car and they do not. They are roughly 4 inches in diameter with aluminum housing (which is not removable). The speaker itself looks to be about 1-1.5 inches, which would match my car nicely, but the additional material makes it impossible to fit in my door without cutting a new hole in both plastic and sheet metal.

After installing them (a total cakewalk), I realized they made up all the difference that was lacking in the stock system. The imaging is superb now and it boosts the highs in a needed way from the front. Crystal clear and they handle the power with no distortion at max volume. Best upgrade available for my toaster. A very easy mounting system too. National deals is a great company to do business with. With a deal like this and prompt shipping, I'd be happy to buy from them again.

After I tried using the brackets for about 30 min I tossed them in the trash and just used a hot glue gun. The finished product looks great and sounds as well!

(More customer reviews)This component system would have gotten 5 stars but when i received them i was excited so went to work right away on installing them got them all in and so far it had looked like they were made out of good materials. but when i turn on the stereo i had great sound out of one side but the other side's woofer was quiet and the tweeter didnt work so i tested them and they worked great. i then opened up the cross-over box only to find a bad solder joint. resoldered and they work great. would highly recomend as long as you get one with good solder joints.

Kenwood Kfc-P709Ps 6.5-Inch Performance Series Component Speaker System Review

(More customer reviews)After searching for the best budget component speakers, I put my faith in this well known brand, Kenwood. After visiting numerous department stores like Best Buy, Circuit City and the like, and listening to the quality of speakers including Alpine, RF, Pioneer and others - in my honest opinion, THESE ARE THE BEST COMPONENT SPEAKERS for the sub $100 range.
They are clear, not too sharp on the high tones, and they hit the lower frequencies just right. I have them hooked up to an MB Quart Discus 480 amp (Amazon has this listed as: AMP 4X80W @ 4 OHMS 4X160W @ 2 OHMS) and they are perfectly matched for the 80 Watt rms.
They are really capable of producing nice sound, and depending on your car - they can and will rattle the door panels at high volume :p - an inevitable side effect without using sound deadening material.
I guess you could call me an audiophile on a budget.... *but aren't we all? especially if we're buying things from Amazon?...
But if you're on the fence about finding a pair of components in this range.. Really, look no further... You'll be very very happy with this purchase.
