(More customer reviews)This item is not made to plug into your factory stereo. It does work very well when you use it correctly. I hooked it up to the wiring harness in the dashboard, then connected the loose wires to the new aftermarket stereo and everything worked fine. It keeps you from cutting the connector off the car...very useful item.
