(More customer reviews)I've been a fan of PIAA wipers for many years and when I learned of these new "flat" ones, I jumped at the chance to upgrade my wipers.
The Good:
The wipers are easy to open
The seem to be of higher quality than the Bosch Icons I used in the past
Installation is easy, everything you need is included
The Cleaning/Prep packet really does help.
The Bad:
Cleaning and preparing the windshield takes some time and effort. It is worth it, but it makes a 5 min job into a 15-20 min job.
Price. You get what you pay for in this case, but they are expensive when compared to Rain-X and Bosch.
In use...that's hard to say for sure as we've only had fog/drizzle over the past few days since I have installed these. But they worked very well, seemingly better than the Icons I had before. At best, they are noticeably better than the Bosch Icons (on a windshield that had Rain-X applied). At worst, they are just slightly better than their competitors.
So overall, I feel that they are of better overall quality than the others and will easily to recommend to those folks looking for a great, if expensive, set of wipers.

PIAA 96050 Forza Hybrid Silicone Wiper Blade - 20" Review

I've had silicone blades once before on my first car, arco brand, which turned me to these, since piaa is the only brand that I've found that still makes silicone wipers. In the year I've used them, they've performed better than the fresh rubber wipers on our other vehicle. They haven't frozen to the windshield, and remain mostly soft at -20 degrees fahrenheit. The constant silicone application keeps water reliably beading, with me scrubbing my windshield every fill-up, without reapplying rain x every month or two. The frame is sturdy and the side springs make a huge difference compared to traditional wiper designs. The wipers so far have remained streak free.
Overall the silicone blade is the biggest selling point. They don't stiffen in the cold like rubber does, and are considerably harder to nick, which usually is the cause of some streaking. The silicone also seems to last longer than normal rubber compounds. Finally, as with all piaa blades, they are refillable.
I highly recommend piaa silicone blades to anyone who values wiper performance.

PIAA 95050 Super Silicone Black Wiper Blade - 20" Review

I've tried them all... graphite, silblade, natural rubber, dual compound, etc. and these are always a good fit. They operate smoothly for years and hold up better than anything I've used before. They don't chatter and are well worth the money. I wish I kept my cars as long as these last.
