(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of these to replace a previous one that had split at the end after removing 3 summer wheels on my Mazda3. I figured the previous one broke as I had not inserted it all the way onto the lug nut before trying to remove the nut. I tried the first replacement, making sure that it was properly seated onto the lug nut. Using just a short tire lug iron that came with my car the McGard tool twisted and collapsed. Broke without even loosening 1 nut!
I filled the 2nd replacement with epoxy to keep it from breaking and was able to get the 4th wheel off.
I like the McGard splined lug nut but the installation tool needs to be made stronger like their competitors. A stronger stiffer metal should do it.

(More customer reviews)These lugs are very good.They have a bearing at the bottom so when you tighten the lugs it doesn't grind into your wheels.This is my second set only because someone that was working on my car didn't tighten them all the way down and lost one lug goin down the road.A little pricey but the best price here on amazon.

(More customer reviews)premium lug nuts, premium price. worth every penny. I personally drove to the Manufacturer's factory (4.5 hrs.) to verify the quality before ordering. I needed a "non-rust" recessed lug nut to replace ones that rusted within 1 month of installation. The failure models were chrome plated lugs from China. They rusted almost instantly ruining the mag wheels. McGard are spotless. Refer to their aging comparison of lesser brands. Amazing warranty as well. Hard to find this product on the shelf due to price and custom specs. Highly recommended! take the time to order from their extensive catalogue and get the right set delivered.

BE SURE YOU VERIFY YOUR THREAD SIZES, both inside and outside. When you take your car for services, always remember to let the service writer know that there are wheel locks and where the key is. Otherwise the service technician may just cut off the wheel locks! Ouch! Also, the company website is very good, with full details and photos.
