(More customer reviews)I've used k&n air filters for years - so why not try their oil filters? They work wonderully. I drive a 2000 Honda Prelude SH and the oil filter is located on the back of the engine in such a position that the oil in the filter drips all down the back of the engine block upon removal with normal filters - not with the k&n!! Only a few drops now drip down, what a difference.

While the model detector on Amazon says this does not fit the Z, I assure you that it does and it works just fine. 7k miles and two oil changes and not a single issue. Added a filter magnet to it SS250 FilterMag and you're good to go. Great filter.

Mann-Filter ML 1008 Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)OK, I am not a filter expert, and I don't know if this is as good as the filters that Honda service sells, but other web posters have commented on lower quality in some recent versions (e.g A02) of the Honda filters for CR-V. I have read that Bosch and MANN+HUMMEL bought Purolator Filter in 2006, so this filter may be similar to Purolator Filters.

Purolator PL14459 PureONE Oil Filter, Pack of 1 Review

I average 100-150 miles of hard and fast driving at track days and the oil comes out clean and smooth when I'm done. The surface of the filter is pebblegrained so it doesn't slip in your hand when tightening or loosening. It has very fine particle filter specs, last time I checked it filtered the smallest particles out of the filters tested.
